More than forty thousand dead now from the genocide happening in Palestine, as to how many children, inconceivable. Herod has resurrected! What power does Israel have to be able to carry such extent of cruelty? It seems incomprehensible until one checks who gives support to Israel. The governments of advanced nations, where the richest live, where the most profitable companies exist, the most progressive, the most distant to God. Most of their citizens can see the horrible picture but those of power have blinded their eyes with the root of all evil. Indeed, Satan uses two baits to fish, luxury and power, and his net is overflowing.
Why are these killings happening? Why do certain groups of people suffer so much? In the land where The Messiah was born, why is His agony happening again? God must have a reason, He will not let things happen for nothing. Spat on, ridiculed, tortured, and killed, the Palestinians have been experiencing them and why?
Before October 7, I had never given a thought on my dad’s answer when I asked him, as an elementary grader then, where Israel was, “there is no Israel, that is just an invention”, he said. Yet in my Religion class, we would always encounter the name, intertwined with Moses and the Ten Commandments, which we studied and should learn by heart one by one. I have always wanted to visit Bethlehem and see where Jesus was born, trace the path He walked on in Jerusalem, maybe take a sip of wine in Galilee where He performed His first miracle. “These places are in Israel, right?”.
The Israelis do not believe in Jesus, for them, the messiah is still about to come. Most Jews in Israel, do not follow the ten commandments, these past eleven months, they have flaunted how they break each one as if they have no God, or their god is not The God. They have been desecrating each one of the Decalogue, against the very lives of the Palestinians, the natives of the land they have been trying to possess.
Muslims do not talk bad about Jesus nor of Mary His mother, they respect Them. Islam reveres Jesus, whom they call, Messiah. What irony. I have always thought that Moslems are ruthless people who behead Christians and that I should stay away from them as they were dangerous. In 2001, Moslems committed the September 11 attack. ISIS too originated from the Muslim’s world. It never occurred to me though that mainstream media are being controlled, what could and should be in the news. That not a few journalists, like the so many politicians, lick the same masters’ hands. The nastier against the truth, the higher the investment made and what returns one gets. The gold being dangled created a stampede, how easy the jackpot is, just step on humans called Palestinians. Who are the supporters of this injustice against Palestine? I used to admire the United States, I thought the country was the epitome of Superman; heroic and great, until the war in Gaza, and Assange and Snowden revealed the opposite. Aristocracy and nobility in appearance can be in contrast with the appearance of the spirit, is it not but colonial sanctimoniousness that made the United Kingdom partition another country to give away? It is shocking how the Palestinians, without any intention on their part or strength of voice, are revealing to the world the true colors of many nations and of people who were never worthy of adoration accorded to them. They are not what they seem like. Pandora’s box has been opened revealing all vile and wickedness. What is the rationale behind the backers of genocide? These government and people, have lost themselves in the stampede, they may have gotten the gold but have dropped their souls. If it is taking time for God to end the sufferings of the Palestinians, could one reason be is that He loves each one, even the greatest sinner and just the same as when He sent The Messiah to the believers, He wants to save the perpetrators of this enormous transgression. Not the Palestinians, in spite of the horrendous scenarios the world is witnessing, God has secured them in His arms. The martyrs are now in bliss in heaven. The children are once again playing and laughing. Yet the guilty, will soon realize when death comes knocking, that what they have evilly gained in life has all been paid for by their souls.
